Gentle Washing: When it's time to give your canvas mat bag a refresh, remember to set your washing machine to a cold wash. Cold water is not only gentle on the fabric but also helps reduce shrinkage, ensuring your bag retains its shape. For added protection, lower the centrifuge speed to prevent any potential damage to the bag. Our goal is to keep your bag looking as good as new.

Detergent Selection: To start the cleaning process, add a fabric detergent to the washing machine. Then, place your canvas mat bag inside. You have the option to wash it on its own to prevent any colour transfer, or you can wash it with other canvas items if needed. Close the washing machine lid and allow it to complete the cleaning cycle.

Prompt Removal: As soon as the cycle ends, promptly remove your canvas bag from the washing machine. Leaving it inside for an extended period may lead to mold and bacteria growth, which we want to avoid. If, by any chance, this happens, you'll need to restart the washing process.

Air Drying is Best: Since most canvas bags, including our mat bags, are made of cotton, it's advisable to skip the dryer. The heat from a dryer can cause shrinkage and distortion of the bag's shape. Instead, opt for the gentle touch of air drying. You can achieve this by using a drying rack, hanging it on a clothesline, or draping it over a chair. Simply set the bag aside and let it naturally air dry, typically overnight.
